A pair of pepper mill made from sapwood and heartwood of the same plank of English walnut. They look very different, but physically couldn’t be any closer! Could be used as salt and pepper mills or for some of other spices.

These are shaped roughly first with the band sew and hand curved to the final form. Hand painted with Japanese calligraphy ink (sumi) and finished with food safe Danish oil.
