Initially developed for the comission project for 2 Bessborough Street, Pimlico armchair is comfortable and compact lounge chair made in solid wood. The chair is available to order with or without upholstery.
Matching sofa, side table, and coffee table is available on request.
Pimlico chair is designed by Mentsen in 2021, and made to order in their studio in South London. Please contact us for the price and lead time.

The first 1:1 mock-up in Douglas fir
Prototyping
The chair was the first item we designed to set the overall direction of 2 Bessborough Street project. The hefty hexagonal building gave us an idea to start with a hexagonal column, then divide it to 4 panels and turn 2 sides to make seat and back.
We initially tested the construction idea in douglas fir and the final pieces were made in stained European oak.
